PS Tray Factory is awesome. Does exactly what I need it to do e.g. hide system tray icons, and it does an excellent job.
It's paidware, but it's worth it IMO. TrayControl is a nice alternative though, and it's free, just lacking some of the more advanced features that PS Tray offers.
