Proj.email

With Proj.email, you manage projects via email, and don't have to login to a project app. Traditional project software is too cumbersome to get everyone to use it. Teams return to using email after an unsuccessful implementation attempt.

What is Proj.email?

Proj.email is a simple e-mail centric project management system. The problem with current project management is that it requires users to login. Users may login for the first few weeks of implementation but then go back to email – despite management asking users to use the new project management software. Proj.email solves this problem by allowing users to email each other using their existing email client. They simply cc the project management software and put a # with the name of the stage or subproject, and Proj.email will automatically file it.

Since email conversations tend to be back and forth, users just need to hit “reply all” and that will ensure that the email goes into the system. They can optionally login to the system if they want to manage the project. Logging in is not required for anyone except for the project manager(s). Another problem that managers face is that they have to figure out a way to fit their projects into a fixed system of milestones and tasks. With Proj.email, your emails can be treated as tasks and your project structure made completely customizable. You make projects exactly the way you want to with absolutely no compromise in the way you had envisioned configuring the software. Another problem that managers don’t realize is that project management software oftentimes slows team members down. Team members have to stop what they’re doing, switch over to the system, log their activity, and then continue working. Team members tend to complain, amongst themselves, about the inefficiency of the system. Also, it takes up management's time by constantly nagging employees to use the system. Proj.email is a passive and organic system so all users have to do is cc the system with a #. Another problem that users complain about is that emails sent within software oftentimes looks quirky and don't have the same formatting as their normal emails. Proj.email solves this by allowing you to use your own email client
