What is PrivacyScrubber?
PrivacyScrubber is a 100% client-side PII (Personally Identifiable Information) sanitizer designed specifically for AI workflows (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini).
It implements Zero-Trust Data Sanitization (ZTDS):
- You paste a client contract, support ticket, or HR document.
- It detects names, emails, phone numbers, and IDs via local regex.
- Detected PII is swapped for tokens (e.g., [NAME_1], [EMAIL_1]).
- You paste the sanitized, safe version into the AI model.
- When the AI responds, PrivacyScrubber "reverse scrubs" the tokens back to the original data — all within your browser's session memory.
It passes the "Airplane Mode Test" — you can load the tool, disconnect from the internet, and securely redact your documents, guaranteeing zero data logging, transmission, or server storage.
