I like Pincone because it makes my life easier.

Paid mention on ProductHunt, obviously ๐ณ๐ฎ๐ธ๐ฒ reviews on both site and altTo page (here). Such a service requires minimal overhead and investment without compromising server integrity, or the negligible data storage requirements and lack of staff needed for an operation of this type. Seems as though all investment went into marketing and design, in hopes customers would pay $5 ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐บ๐ผ๐ป๐๐ต for a service offered by dozens of reliable sites for free. I SUPPOSE if you are only looking to design a personal homepage without intent to share/distribute your bookmarks, then I GUESS this could suffice for your needs. However people typically just use their native browser bookmark system for that. I call ๐จ๐๐๐ฃ๐ฃ๐๐ฃ๐๐๐๐ฃ๐จ! I'm Ivan and Iโm the founder of Pincone.
It might be odd to say thank you for your comment, but we really do appreciate the time you took to explore and review Pincone!
If you donโt mind, Iโll break down some of your points.
First off, Pincone was actually a side project we created in Ars Futura, a design and development agency. So, it is true that itโs not our primary focus but that does not mean we havenโt put any thought into it and that we donโt have users who really, really love it.
Second, the $5/month charge applies only to teams bigger than three people. We do have a bit of a cost in manpower, marketing (as you pointed out), servers, and storage. Our features, where you can ingest RSS feeds and soon newsletters, do incur some costs as well. So, the $5/month charge for bigger teams is not, in our opinion, outrageous or unjustified.
If you want to use Pincone as an individual or with a smaller team, itโs completely free.

Very usefull tool for sharing bookmark content with my co-workers. Love it!
Of all the alternatives for storing and sharing links/bookmarks, I like Pincone the most. I especially like that they have browser extensions that make it really easy to use.
Very useful tool, I use it everyday.
