Attention!! It foes NOT work without Google Play Store. I teally liked this app and paid the premium version for around 10€.
I wanted to use this app on a custom Android rom with an alternative Micro-G installed. But when I open it the app requests the play store after 2 seconds. That means it pings every single time the play services. Thats absolutely not privacy friendly.
I would love to use this app without anything installed from Google. To being able to buy a license without Play Store.
