I'm not great at judging malware unless error messages flash at me, so PCData Backup might be a better bet. This seems like a nice simple backup/migration program.. it goes drive-to-drive to a Folder called PCTransfer where it can be Restored. You can transfer Desktop Files, IE fav & settings, Documents, Pictures, Music, Videos, & Emails. While you can add folders, I don't see a way to customize other browser fav & settings, or Emails, and I will guess that there are more powerful programs out there for migrating programs and their settings, but if you are a Microsoft fan, maybe that email backing and the Internet explorer backing will work well for you.. though I will guess it will hang in being outdated.
Perhaps they upgraded it, but the latest version seems to be portable.
