PassAndroid is described as 'Displays esPass (.esPass) & Passbook (.pkpass) files, shows the Barcode (QR, PDF417, AZTEC, Code 39 and Code 128 format) and is also usable offline' and is an app. There are eight alternatives to PassAndroid for a variety of platforms, including Android, F-Droid, Android Tablet, HUAWEI AppGallery and iPad apps. The best PassAndroid alternative is Catima, which is both free and Open Source. Other great apps like PassAndroid are FossWallet, Google Wallet, Cardabase and OSS Card Wallet.

FossWallet is a free and open source (foss) .pkpass application. Inspired by the venerable PassAndroid-App, I tried to recreate the necessary functionality in Material Design 3 and with modern technologies.

Google Wallet is a digital service by Google for managing transactions. It allows users to pay at Google Pay accepted locations, store digital boarding passes, movie tickets, and more on their smartphones. It also offers a secure location for essential items.

Cardabase is your digital wallet for loyalty cards. Save all your shop cards in one secure place and access them instantly.

The OSS Card Wallet is an Open Source app to scan and store all your cards. You either scan using your camera or by importing an image. The app will automatically detect you cards and barcodes within the photo and will crop the image.

Unofficial app that is fully open source. This app is a simple to use PDF Wallet. That means it takes over the task to store and display your most important PDF certificates. It includes a convenient fullscreen barcode rendering, if a barcode is present in the PDF.

With WalletPasses, you can use passes on your Android phone to check in for flights, get and redeem rewards, get in to movies, or redeem coupons.
