Works great if you're on Windows, but it doesn't support Linux unfortunately. They should put a disclaimer that it doesn't support hosting yet

What is Parsec?
Parsec lets you join and control a computer remotely in low latency, 60 FPS and HD, as if you were in front of that computer. • Play with friends any split-screen, local multiplayer games • Pass the controller to a friend in single-player games, or let them watch you • Use your computer remotely with a keyboard and mouse, or let a friend take control and help you with something • Watch videos and listen to music together • Use it for work, CAD, graphics, video editing and more (check 'Parsec for Teams')
Parsec has three 'tiers': • Free (https://parsec.app/features/): Everything you need to bring a friend to play with you, access your own PC remotely to play or do anything non-commercial in low latency, 60FPS and HD • Warp (https://parsec.app/warp/): For individuals that want to go a step above just gaming and support Parsec while at it. Get improved 4:4:4 colors, multiple monitors, tablet support and virtual displays • Teams (https://parsec.app/teams/): For teams that want everything from Warp for the whole team, advanced tools & permissions for managing who accesses machines, VIP & escalated support, SAML SSO and more

Best game streaming solution out there. Lowest latency, highest frame rates, and up to 4K!
Can only host using a windows computer.
This is no longer true. MacOS hosting is available and works great!

Great Platform to play games together with remote friends. Requires sign-up. Game hosting is NOT supported on Linux, albeit you can still join other people's games.
Easily the fastest, best remote desktop sharing app I've used to date. Unfortunately there is currently no way to host from Linux, and the app requires IPv6 enabled, which can be a problem for use with some VPNs, but otherwise an outstanding utility.
Every update for this app in the past 3 years has only devolved this app. first they remove parties to replace it with arcades which only support like 15 apps, 90% of which ALREADY had online functionality, and now when april 15th comes they're just going to revert back to the fucking stone age and force people to use pc sharing without even thinking of bringing back parties forcing you to use link sharing.
I recommend at this point using remote play whatever, which is a steam mod that allows any app ran with the steam overlay to remote play, its still just about the same thing as pc sharing since you still either have to share with your friends list or link share but Im recommending it because of parsec's "fuck you, we dont care if its objectively worse in everyway, we're doing it anyways" approach to updates.
This is coming from somebody whose used this program for probably around 6 years at this point by the way.
I have found Parsec to be an incredible solution for streaming work and gaming with very low latency and great quality. I also use it to help friends troubleshoot issues with their computers remotely in addition to playing local multiplayer games with them online.
