The communist state of Arstotzka has just ended a 6-year war with neighboring Kolechia and reclaimed its rightful half of the border town, Grestin. Your job as immigration inspector is to control the flow of people entering the Arstotzkan side of Grestin from Kolechia. Among the throngs of immigrants and visitors looking for work are hidden smugglers, spies, and terrorists. Using only the documents provided by travelers and the Ministry of Admission's primitive inspect, search, and fingerprint systems you must decide who can enter Arstotzka and who will be turned away or arrested.

This game is tons of fun, as long as you find puzzles and detective work fun. As a customs inspector, you process everyone wanting to visit or immigrate. You check over their documents, and inspect them, and decide based on what you see whether to admit them, deny them, or detain them. For puzzle solvers and detective work lovers, it is a blast.
There are other things to trouble you as you play, such as trying to earn enough money for you and your family to survive well. Pay is very meager in the workers paradise, and optional ways to obtain funds might be presented. What is a poor starving customs inspector to do when his son and wife are sick and freezing to death? That's for you to decide.
A truly great game with a strong 1970s "Iron Curtain" atmosphere to it. If you love detective work and puzzles, you should give it a try.
