      Squadcast vs PagerDuty
      pros, cons and recent comments
Ability to configure SLOs, SLIs. Rules engine to deduplicate, suppress and auto route alerts, tagging as a way to configure literally anything including severities or incident types, in-built postmortem templates and both public (free forever) and private statuspages.

Simple UI/UX and a few great features to eliminate unwanted alerts. The alert suppression and maintenance mode is a smart way to filter the critical alerts from the noisy ones. Particularly liked the configurable Deduplication feature. Their free status page though basic is still a good add on at no extra cost. Overall when we compared Squadcast to others like Pagerduty, Opsgenie - found to be a better fit for our use case and budget.

Pagerduty has many features like Video calling, Alert deduplication, 2000+ integrations which are absent in Squadcast.

Squadcast is accurate in reporting incidents and their metrics. It integrates well with existing monitoring solutions, so it does not cause a lot of overhead while setting it up. The integration of JIRA ticketing is a huge plus, as it automates the creation of tickets for issues to be addressed.

We've been using iLert every day for years. This is a very good and stable platform. And for us it is also a big plus that the servers are in Germany. #GDPR
