Open Live Writer is an open source application enabling users to author, edit, and publish blog posts. It is based on a fork of the well-loved but not actively developed Windows Live Writer code.
The project seems no longer developed. Last version, 0.6.2.0, released in May 2017, can be still downloaded from GitHub

It seems that OLW is abandoned. No updates and no solutions to problems.
It is most certainly not. The GitHub is still active and they still merge pull requests. Development is very slow but not abandoned.
It most certainly is, Jake. The last version was released on May 23, 2017. It's 0.6.2.0.
I just tried using this to access a Google Blogger account - Google has disabled the oauth process, which makes the client unusable. It still works on one of my Worpress accounts, but I'd agree, the app is dead.
