Building a good fiat onramp requires integration of multiple fiat-to-crypto gateways. However, this is a time-consuming and costly process. As such, we set out to build the solution ourselves: Onramper, a simple turnkey solution that integrates all the major fiat onramps.

In order to have a good onboarding experience, you users should be able to buy cryptocurrencies directly in your wallet, exchange, app or website. Building a good fiat onramp requires multiple fiat gateways. Without multiple fiat gateways, there’s no way to support all payment methods, locations or currencies your users want to use. Converting fiat to cryptocurrencies yourself is not an option either, as this requires licenses/registration to comply with applicable regulations wherever your users are. However, integrating multiple fiat gateways is costly. Each gateway requires going through a due diligence process, negotiations, contracting and a substantial amount of integration work. Moreover, most also have integration fees, which can be as high as EUR 20.000.

Onramper solves all of this by making it easy to connect to all major fiat gateways in a single turnkey solution. We have already done the work, so you don’t have to. Through our widget, any user will be able to buy crypto without ever having to leave your app or website, using the payment method of their choice. The best fiat gateway for a transaction can be selected by the user, depending on whether the user wants his/her crypto fast, for low fees or without providing a passport.

Onramper also makes sure you will never have to deal with any chargebacks. Similarly, all KYC and AML-related procedures and compliance requirements are implemented on the fiat gateway level.
