I get it. Everyone is burned out on Dating Apps due to how inefficient they are at actually connecting people in real life. Our research shows there are 3 main issues:
The Problem:
- Time it takes to get a date (4 Days of chatting on average)
- 1 out 3 people are ghosted
- Only 5% of first dates lead to a second date
I looked up my own personal dating app history and found that I was personally ghosted ~20% of the time and only had a 1.85% second date rate. Thus set out to build a solution that would address these problems in the dating space.

With Only Dates, you have control of who you go on a date with, not an algorithm. We’ve added the ability for women to set any custom dealbreaker screening questions that matter to her. Don’t want to bother with a cat person? Credit score below 650 just won’t do? Not ready for something serious yet? Toss those matches out of the way from the start with the custom Deal Breaker Screeners. Let’s do away with that awkward conversation of figuring out if your date is looking for the same thing as you or not.
Once these custom dealbreaker screener questions are set, swipe right on profiles you would be interested in going on a date with. If they swipe right back, they will be able to answer your deal breaker screener questions. After you score a match who 100% passes your screening, they will be able to RSVP to your date!
How does it work?
