What is Ona?

Ona, is a mobile data collection and visualization platform used by more than 25,000 users globally. With the Ona platform, emergency responders and social change makers are able to carry out surveys and analyze data as it comes in from the field.

Some of its Ona’s key features are: -Data Collection: -Offline data collection -Multi Device support -Multi­language support -Privacy and security features for projects collecting sensitive data -Fast form disbursement

Data Analysis and Visualization: -Automatic analysis and visualization tools like dashboards, charts, and maps -Data reporting tools? -Messaging and communications tools like RapidPro, SMS, and TextIt -Integration with external data tools like Google Sheets

The Ona platform is currently being used by a number of organizations at a regional or global enterprise level, including: -The Departments of Prevention of Noncommunicable Diseases and Reproductive Health and Research at WHO -Shack / Slum Dwellers International and 30 of their country affiliates -A number of partners, including Mercy Corps, involved in the Ebola response -The DFID Humanitarian Response Consortium Somalia, which includes UNICEF, WFP, FAO, Save the Children, Concern, and ICRC. -WFP Regional Bureau, Nairobi -Mercy Corps HQ and over 40 of their country offices
