ODF Viewer

AndroidODF is a tool for viewing text documents, presentations and spreadsheets in ODF format for mobile devices, Android.

ODF is the Open Document Format for Office Applications (Open Document Format) promoted by OASIS. It is also a standard published by ISO / IEC 26300:2006 for office documents. And in several EU countries, as Belgium and the Netherlands, the ODF format is by law the government format.

Is a Libre Software project so that the primary motivation, besides offering an office document viewer, is that it can be used, improved and distributed by both communities, manufacturers and organizations, as end users. Currently the project is in a stable version for J2ME devices, can display text documents, presentations and spreadsheets. But it is developing a version for Android, and now displays text documents. The project was initiated by CENATIC for different platforms. The current lead developer contacted CENATIC and offered the possibility of porting the Android platform, currently serves as lead developer, in coordination with CENATIC and participating in government and community decisions.
