What is Null Fake?
Null Fake is a Laravel application that uses AI to identify counterfeit Amazon product reviews. It sources reviews by scraping Amazon, then processes them with OpenAI to generate authenticity scores. Users can input an Amazon product URL and solve a captcha, after which Null Fake extracts the ASIN and country from the URL. If a recent analysis for the same ASIN and country is present in the database, the cached OpenAI analysis is instantly returned.
If there is no recent analysis, Null Fake scrapes reviews from Amazon, analyzes them with OpenAI and stores the interaction in the database for future use. The results, including a fake review percentage, grade, explanation, and ratings, are then shown to the user. The application's features comprise Amazon review fetching, bandwidth optimization, product validation, AI analysis, database caching, captcha protection, real-time progress tracking during analysis, and a comprehensive alerting system for API errors and issues.
