What is Nostros?
Nostros operates as a nostr client specifically designed for Android devices. The nostr protocol, upon which Nostros is built, is designed to establish a social network that is resistant to censorship. The Nostros platform allows users to generate their own passwords to access nostr, facilitating interaction with other users.
Nostros comes equipped with a number of features. Users have the ability to send public notes and replies, edit their profiles, and repost content. The platform supports reactions such as likes and dislikes, and also allows for the transmission of encrypted direct messages. Nostros employs NIP-05 validation and facilitates the generation of Lightning Network invoices for profiles and notes. Users can flag sensitive content and utilize Bech-32 keys. The platform enables users to block other users and content, create groups, and use deep links. Users can search content and hashtags, log in via mnemonic phrases, and upload images to hosting services. Nostros also allows users to push all data to a relay, filter global feeds, block users, and color-code relays. It also supports push events to private relay, zaps, public and private bookmarks, and dynamic connection to contacts' relays.
