What is nocat.lol?
nocat.lol is basically your own private place to store and share files — think of it like a personal, no-nonsense file locker with some really cool tricks up its sleeve.
What you can do with files
Upload anything by dragging it in or picking it from your computer, and watch the progress in real time Browse everything you've uploaded, download it back, or delete it whenever you want See at a glance when things were uploaded, how big they are, and when they're set to expire
Sharing files with people
Grab a public link for any file and send it to whoever needs it — they don't need an account Put a password on a link so only the right people can get to it Set the link to expire after a few hours if you don't want it floating around forever Turn on "burn after read" — the file literally deletes itself the moment someone downloads it, which is perfect for sensitive stuff you only want one person to see once
Keeping your account secure
Log in with a username and password like normal, or use an image as your password (it gets hashed, so you just need to keep the original image — genuinely a neat idea) Add two-factor authentication with any app like Authy or Google Authenticator Check what sessions are active on your account and wipe them if something looks off
Connecting other tools
Hook it up to ShareX or other upload clients with an API token so you can send files straight from your desktop without opening a browser Link your Discord account if you want
Making it look the way you want
Eight color themes to pick from — everything from a clean light mode to a full purple hacker aesthetic Toggle the CRT scanline effect on or off (yes, really), turn off the glow if it's too much, switch fonts, adjust corner rounding — it's surprisingly deep Compact mode if you just want things tighter and less spaced out
The music player (yes, there's one)
There's a little music player tucked in the corner that plays while you use the site Shuffle, repeat, skip, scrub through tracks, adjust volume — it's a full player, just small
Works on your phone too
The whole thing switches to a card layout on mobile so it doesn't feel cramped You can install it as an app on your phone so it sits on your home screen like a native app
