What is NewsFlash?
The spiritual successor to FeedReader A modern feed reader designed for the GNOME desktop. NewsFlash is a program designed to complement an already existing web-based RSS reader account. It combines all the advantages of web based services like syncing across all your devices with everything you expect from a modern desktop program: Desktop notifications, fast search and filtering, tagging, handy keyboard shortcuts and having access to all your articles as long as you like.

Comments and Reviews
Similar to NetNewsWire on MacOS, NewsFlash is a clean, stable, fast, free, no-clutter and no-nonsense RSS/Atom newsfeed reader for Linux. It syncs new posts quickly and I haven't had any issues with it getting stuck the way I had with Communique (before the latter stopped working entirely!)
It's an app, not a service, so it's not tracking you or inserting ads. That also means there's no web version. But it can sync with various cloud services. (I use it with Nextcloud News)
Built for GNOME, but I've got the Flatpak working just fine on KDE Plasma and LxQt.
Clean and easy to use RSS Reader that integrates very well with GNOME.
Don't like NewsFlash. No card view and other many features like in Fluent Reader. To read full text of article user must every time push shift+C. Not every launch NewsFlash can load feeds - sometimes it breaks. But, in other hand, it simple and clean app for read feeds.
The most modern feel I've found in an RSS reader: it doesn't mangle the pages too much, and makes them enjoyable to read.
