Import only one folder's worth at a time, not nested folders. [Correction: There's an unlabeled tiny button that looks like a folder that, if colored, enables the nested import; so it's actually a checkbox but doesn't look like one. I guess this is whack-a-mole UI. sigh] Imported files end up in a "box"; no respect for existing organization. You will need to create whatever organization you require within the app with add'l "boxes". Yeah, reinvent the wheel. Not sure what the developer is...
