What is muCalendar?
µCalendar is a lightweight, open-source desktop calendar application built for users who value privacy and simplicity. It brings your remote calendars — whether self-hosted or cloud-based — into a clean, native desktop experience.
Built with Rust, it runs efficiently on macOS, Linux, and Windows without the overhead of a browser-based solution.
It supports both WebCal/iCal (read-only) and CalDAV (read/write), making it compatible with platforms like Nextcloud, Radicale, and Infomaniak. Calendars sync automatically every 5 minutes, and ICS files can be imported via drag and drop.
The interface offers month, week, and day views, a mini date picker, and per-calendar color coding — all in a dark-themed, distraction-free layout.
Licensed under AGPL-3.0 and hosted on Codeberg, muCalendar is a free, community-friendly alternative to proprietary calendar clients.
