What is Monodraw?

Because it's all just text, it can be easily embedded almost anywhere. Of course, exporting as images is also supported (PNG and SVG).
Diagrams A picture is worth a thousand words. A diagram is probably worth twice as much. Enhance your technical documentation (code, specs) with easy to comprehend textual art. Monodraw is amazing. It’s Visio, but in ASCII. The best part is that you can move and modify objects after they are drawn. Objects have attachment points, like they do in Visio, so that if you draw arrows between objects, they will automatically adjust as you move objects around.
There are a lot of ASCII tools out there, but most are geared toward artwork, not diagrams. Those that handle diagrams, like ASCIIFlow, tend to be very simplistic. Monodraw has a rich array of tools, while still being intuitive and easy to use. This is what a Mac app should be!
A delightful app to use. Simple to understand. Powerful features. Every time I use it, it makes me wish every app had this feel to it.
