What is MonitorES (Monitor Energy Saver)?
MonitorES is a small windows utility that helps you to turnoff monitor display when you lock down your machine. Also when you lock your machine, it will pause all your running media programs & set your IM status message to "Away" / Custom message(via options) and restore it back to normal when you back.
Lite and Ubuntu versions also available.

MonitorES is a 32 KB .exe application which allows to power off only the screen (configurable Hotkeys) while your session is still open. It also allows to power off the screen when you lock your computer using Windows Key + L (or another method). It is very important to remark that it DOES NOT require Microsoft .Net Framework or any other application to work.
The actual version is 1.0b and can be set to start with every windows boot.
