I tried Minitab and Number Analytics. For beginners, it would be better to start with Number Analytics. It is much simpler to use and has less options to choose. The graphical interface is better as it has more color coded tables and interactive graphs.
Beginners in statistical analysis would benefit the most from Number Analytics. Minitab requires some level of statistical knowledge like t-value, p-value, F-value to understand ANOVA, chi-square test. You have to select what kinds of statistical analysis is appropriate for a case. Number Analytics automatically applies the right statistical model for you so that beginners would be the right target. However advanced statistical analysis is limited at Number Analytics compared to Minitab.
