What is Minero?

Minero.cc offers a JavaScript library to mine Monero on Web browsers. It uses WebAssembly to make an efficient use of CPUs in the safe environment of Web browsers.

It can be used for individual easy mining without the need to install software or plugins. If you own a website, you can embed the miner in it and use your visitors CPU to mine Monero for you. This can be an alternative way of monetizing a website without ads.

The website owner gets paid a fair amount proportional to the number of hashes computed by the visitors devices. Minero will use 10% of the rewards to cover the costs of running the service, and the website owner gets the remaining 90%. The minimum payout is 0.01 XMR.
