What is Maintenant ?

Maintenant is a self-hosted monitoring tool that covers your entire Docker or Kubernetes stack from a single container. It auto-discovers all running containers via the Docker socket (read-only) and provides container state tracking with CPU/RAM/network metrics, HTTP/TCP endpoint probing, heartbeat URLs for cron job monitoring, SSL/TLS certificate tracking with expiry alerts, OCI registry scanning for image updates, network security analysis (detects exposed database ports, privileged containers, 0.0.0.0 bindings), and a built-in public status page. Built as a single Go binary with an embedded Vue 3 frontend and SQLite storage. Uses less than 20 MB of RAM. No external dependencies — no Postgres, no Redis, no additional containers needed. Configuration via Docker labels or web UI. Open-source under AGPL-3.0, full codebase visible on GitHub. Optional Pro tier for additional alert channels (Slack, Discord, Telegram), Kubernetes support, and CVE detection.
