MacDrive information
What is MacDrive?
MacDrive is a software that enables interaction between Windows PCs and Mac-formatted drives and disks, commonly used in schools, corporations, and production sets. It allows file sharing between APFS and HFS+ formatted drives, including internal, portable, and multi-bay desktop drives, and iPads. The software can read and write to these drives, facilitating data sharing across platforms.
Once installed, MacDrive makes a Windows PC "Mac aware," enabling easy access to Mac-formatted drives without additional software or processes. The MacDrive 11 Standard version simplifies connecting a Mac-formatted drive to a PC, supporting reading and writing to various storage devices. The Pro version offers access to SoftRAID RAID 0 and RAID 1 volumes. Its user-friendly interface integrates seamlessly into regular PC operations.
