Gave me the base skill of a programming language, which serves me until now.
I do not like when the business model is based a monthly cost. They provide 10 days testing, but not pay as you use it... I prefer Techable.com model. Pay per use. From 20$/month, More over, how do they pay the "content builders", seems not transparent.
Can't compare some of the tutorials on lynda.com to other websites such as youtube
It does cost a lot of money / month but its worth it
If you intend to use it for only a month just subscribe + cancel right away
can also link it to your linkedin account when you finish
If you want it dirt cheap ask students you might know they get it for free usually through school
