What is Longevity?

Longevity aims to help you know how long you can expect a product to last before you buy it.

At this moment the method is very simple yet still powerful: users like yourself add items when they make a purchase marking down the date.

Once the item breaks, they update the record indicating the date when it broke.

We also encourage you to think back and add items that you've bought that have already broken: So we all can get more data. Especially so if you were surprised by how long or short the product lasted.

The more "longevity reports" we have for any given product, the more accurately we can predict how long it is going to last.
