As a embedded software developer you are often faced with the fact that the only information you have to find a problem is the text log that was captured at system failure. If you're lucky you have some really good prints to help you, and even more lucky if you have a lot of time to analyze the log. If you are unlucky, you have a pile of logs that needed your attention yesterday.
The purpose of LogScrutinizer is to enable different views of the log. The LogScrutinizer enable you to use your expertise to extract the important information from the log by text filters and graphical plots. Once creating these templates you can easily re-use these and quickly pin down the system behavior over and over again. By specifying text filters it is possible hide irrelevant prints and focus on prints which aid in the current phase of the analysis.
Text and background colors enable further enhancement of important prints
Large text file handling
Large text log handling (+4GB), with possibility to disable parts of the log for faster searches and filtering
Great speed in both filtering and graph generation, where a log of 400MB requires less than 4s to filter on a decent computer
Row clipping, enables you to disregard parts of the log when running filters, plugins and searches. This additionally improves speed
