lightweight and well-designed for efficient log searches
I would really like a log viewer that can be configured to show a log with UTC date time stamps as local date time stamps. For example the "folding at home" software logs are UTC but I really just want to view the log with log times displayed using my local time zone.
Anyone know if this can be done logexpert or any other log viewers?
Columnizer features, and higlighting with regular expressions, make it wonderfull.

This is a very honest comment made by the developer himself in LogExpert forum: "If you only need a rock solid 'tail -n', then BareTail is the best for you. BareTail is great and fast (way faster than LogExpert). But it's only a tail prog."
That being said, if you need something more than 'tail -n' (e.g. extensive highlighting options, regexp search, tab coloring, plugin system...), you should definitely look at LogExpert.
If like me you have used BareTail for years but wanted something more, you will find this to be an excellent upgrade. Finally I can search!
