    What is Locationizer?

Locationizer for iPhone reminds you of things you need to do based on your current location. Did you forget to pick something up on your last trip to the market? Just set a reminder, and the next time you're near the market, Locationizer will remind you that you need to stop there, and why!

With Locationizer on your iPhone, there's no need to backtrack or make extra trips to run errands you forgot. This app reminds you of the things you need to do when you need it the most--while you're still near the location.

    Locationizer features include:

    • Uses push notifications to give location based reminders
    • Simple user Interface
    • Runs in the background while conserving battery life
    • Automatic continuous updates when iPhone is plugged into charger
    • "Master" on/off switch
    • Ability to turn each reminder on or off
    • Ability to turn continuous updates on or off
    • Enter distances in miles or kilometers
    • See all reminders on a convenient list
    • Search for an address
    • Add location from contact's address
    • Add location by dropping a circle on the map
    • "Snooze" a reminder
    • Runs in the background or foreground

When you need to remember an errand, just scroll through your contacts to find a location, or enter the location and the app will find it with Google's lookup service. Adding the reminder is as easy as dropping a circle over the location on the map and entering a distance radius. The next time you're in that area, Locationizer will remind you where you need to go and what the errand is that you need to complete.

If you want to know what errands you may be forgetting before you leave home, Locationizer lets you view all the reminders you have set in one list. From here you can also edit your reminders, or turn individual reminders on or off. This feature is perfect for those locations you want to keep and use again and again.

Locationizer features the use of iOS 4’s low-power mode to poll for your location using your cell phone signal ("Power Save Mode"). If you absolutely can't afford to miss a reminder, you can easily turn power save mode off. This may drain your battery a little faster, but you’ll never miss even a single update as you go about your day. Plugging your iPhone into the charger automatically disables power save mode and enables your GPS so you can be 100% sure you'll receive every reminder while keeping your battery topped off.

Locationizer is great for more than errand reminders. If your daily commute takes you through radar trap zones or past radar triggered cameras, just mark these areas in the app and you'll always remember to check your speed before it's too late.

By letting you know what you need to do while you're still in the right location to do it, Locationizer helps you become more efficient. Download it now and start saving time, money, and gas; and stop making second trips.

Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. For the best user experience, we recommend leaving "Power Save Mode" ON and plugging your iPhone into your car charger.
