What is Liquirium?
Liquirium is a functional framework for automated cryptocurrency trading written in Scala. It aims to facilitate the development of complex trading bots based on a minimal set of simple abstractions for market activity and trading operations. Interaction with the exchanges can be described at an abstract level independent of individual HTTP requests or websocket messages.
The software comes with integrated backtesting capabilities. All bots can be run against historical market data and the performance is visualized in a Tradingview chart.
Currently there is one exchange connector for Binance spot trading but several others are being developed.
Liquirium has been developed and is best suited to write market maker bots that provide liquidity to the market (hence the name). However, the framework is general enough to implement bots of various types.
The software comes with a few examples that demonstrate how to write a simple bot and help you get started.
