I use Brave Browser and one issue is its built-in translation is terrible. This extension basically brings proper Google translate functionality to Brave. The auto-translate settings are great. I’ve now disabled Brave Translate and the Google Translate extension. This is all I need and works great.
Really convenient, especially the setting for auto-translating specific sites. Only downside is that it won't translate something until it's been made visible on the page yet (e.g.: 2nd half of the page and infobubbles). It's fast enough for it to not be a bother, though.
