What is LibreComputer?

Single board computers are at the core of the general-purpose multi-application revolution. From high-speed digital buses to rapid analog acquisition to re-configurable computing, our products are designed to be the heart of embedded sensing and control systems. Quickly integrate application-specific components through low-complexity mezzanines that attach to our platform to reach your addressable market segment.

Embedded solutions need software that is as reliable as the hardware. Upstream open-source support enables us to provide continuous integration, testing, and deployment (CI/CT/CD) with the security updates across our entire product line. Our single board computer platforms support the latest Linux distributions and custom embedded build toolchains. The standardized interfaces and software stack provides unrivaled platform portability in the industry. Transitioning between platforms for cost, performance, and features is seemless with the Libre Computer platforms.

Manufacturing testing is fundamental to our process for long-term reliability. Our products pass an exhaustive 50-point test from an in-house proprietary testing framework to ensure that the device operates at the performance and reliability expected of industrial embedded devices. The rigorous test coverage and benchmarks encompasses every device subsystem and IO interface to ensure all components operate as designed. The specificity of our test coverage exceeds industry standards.

Supply chain complexity is addressed at design stage. Components are selected based on proprietary industry research to ensure availability of the platforms. The designs are aligned to current and upcoming industry standards, ensuring composible and portable systems that mitigate single-supplier challenges. Our platforms offer a minimum 10 year availability and software support period to address lifecycle concerns.
