What is LazyLibrarian?

LazyLibrarian is an open-source tool that automates tracking, fetching, and organizing ebooks, audiobooks, and magazines. It monitors your favorite authors, grabs metadata from sites like OpenLibrary and LibraryThing, and automatically searches Usenet or torrent indexers for wanted titles—much like Sonarr or Radarr, but for books.

🔹 Key features:

Auto-search and download ebooks/audiobooks

Integrates with Calibre for library management

Works with SABnzbd and other downloaders

Supports metadata from multiple sources

Web UI (“Bookstrap”) and API access

Runs easily via Docker or from source
