What is LayoverLink?

Every crew member knows the drill. You land somewhere amazing, Google “things to do near me,” and get the same tourist traps everyone else sees. Meanwhile, the captain who’s been flying this route for 15 years has a list of incredible spots — but that knowledge lives in his head, in a group chat you’re not in, or on a napkin that got thrown away. LayoverLink solves this by creating a shared, searchable platform where flight crews can discover and save crew-tested local experiences in every layover city. What makes LayoverLink different from Yelp or TripAdvisor is that everything is built around the way crews actually travel. Recommendations are filtered by your real layover window — whether you’ve got 4 hours before pickup or 14 hours overnight. You’re not browsing a generic “top 10” list; you’re seeing spots that crew members have actually visited, enjoyed, and gotten back to the hotel in time. The platform lets you search by city, explore curated local spots, and save your favorites so your plan is ready before you even land. Over time, LayoverLink becomes a living, growing guide built by the people who know these cities best — the ones who keep coming back. LayoverLink is currently in public beta and free to use. It’s being built in collaboration with early crew members who are helping shape the product city by city.
