What is Krisp?
Krisp is an AI-powered software that captures, transcribes, and summarizes conversations for various settings like in-person meetings, Zoom calls, and other virtual meetings on platforms like Google Meet or Microsoft Teams. Its features include real-time transcription, AI note-taking, and advanced voice-to-text technology for recording meetings and producing automated meeting notes. It allows for transcription and summarization of meetings on multiple platforms, and users can upload audio files for mobile transcription in over 16 languages.
Krisp also has a bot that can join scheduled video calls, providing automated meeting notes and summaries. It integrates with platforms like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet and can be used on any device. Notes can be shared to Slack, Notion, HubSpot, Salesforce, among others, and all meetings and transcriptions are synced and searchable.
Krisp ensures privacy and security with certifications including SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, and PCI-DSS. It uses an on-device speech-to-text engine, encrypting user data both in transit and at rest. The software is beneficial for anyone needing clear, organized, AI-powered meeting summaries, aiming to streamline the note-taking process.

Comments and Reviews
Does a great job at noise suppression, but not so good at maintaining quality - there is a noticeable drop in audio quality running through Krisp rather than just a straight microphone with no other effects. However it will do a much better job than a laptop's built-in noise reduction, and I can't faze it with loud keyboard sounds or creaky chairs, so I will continue to use it myself.
It really works fine. It removes all the background noise from the microphone, and let only your voice pass. It also removes noises from other people's microphones. If you're on a voice call with someone and he/she is on a very loud environment, Krisp will make the audio of the other person good too.
I just wish it was cheaper... It costs 12 USD (!!!) per month or 60 USD per year. It's a lot of money. For 60 USD you can buy a High-end Headset and then you won't need Krisp at all.
