What is Koher?
Koher is a philosophy for building AI tools that separate language from judgment. The architecture uses three layers: Qualification (AI extracts structured signals from unstructured text), Rules (deterministic code applies thresholds and logic), and Language (AI narrates decisions already made).
Unlike approaches where AI is asked to judge quality directly, Koher makes AI judgments auditable, reproducible, and adjustable. The tools are open source under MIT licence.
Use Koher when: experts can recognise quality but struggle to articulate why, training data is expensive, wrong AI output is costly, or consistency matters.
