Well, ASUS decided to make laptops with no lights. Besides the audio feedback from Windows when toggling the "Lock" keys, there is no other way to know when they are active or not.

This software solves that with a simple and very customizable little icon in the system tray.

Perfect. Just what i needed.

Tried both:

  • Icon size: Keyboard Notifier has just one icon for caps/num/scroll instead of one icon for each in Traystatus
  • Traystatus has additional indicators for alt/ctrl/shift/win/hdd (one icon for each!)
  • Filsize of Keyboard Notifier smaller (but both are very small)
  • No install required for Keyboard Notifier; but therefore you have to look how it starts automatic
  • Traystatus needs a bit more time to react My favorite is Keyboard Notifier...
