Kakewalk is a great place to start if you have a Gigabyte Motherboard. There are two versions, one for Snow Leopard and another for Lion. If this OS X Preinstall Utility supported more chipsets and motherboard manufacturers, it would be hands down the absolute best utility to install OS X. As the name implies, it's a "piece of cake."
