As usual for me, the ArchWiki got me going, and mbsync became an indispensible daily tool for pulling syncing between my local copy of all of my IMAP accounts and their original directories located somewhere in each email providor's servers. With the help of notmuch and some other configuration in Bash, I can very quickly search and manipulate my emails. The only thing it doesn't (and won't ever do) is send emails, though anything that I can send from the command line (such as non-Gmails) using neomutt can then be sync'd up to the email provider as sent mail.
