This program utilizes the ipfw shell command already implemented within the operating system and accessible via the Terminal.app. The beauty in this program is that you don’t need to touch the command line to shape your bandwidth.

Why shape your bandwidth? A: For website diagnostic tests, networking troubleshooting, or to maintain a QoS over your network - ensuring your computer is not hogging all of the bandwidth.
