PROS: This is not a filtering program. Which suites me completely Very simple UI Left click Sys.Tray icon to toggle connected/disconnected Turns Internet connection (Wifi and LAN) ON or OFF via System.tray icon Manual on/off is a toggle on the InternetOff menu popup
The only settings are scheduling on or off Quick temp Internet disconnected via Sys.Tray menu-popup Settings: one dialog, three tabs, General (3 choices), Password (optional), Schedule (optional) ... in one hour blocks
CONS: No short cut keys "Turn off the internet" on the popup then shows a range of times to be off
Very slow to respond to ON/OFF, I am Running VooDooShield (and Free Bitdefender) ... VDS waits for "InternetOff" to finally kick in Icon appearance can be sabotaged, easily reset with "IOffSvc.exe" in root folder ( a shortcut on Start Menu to fix)
All in all I am very pleased with "InternetOff" it is the ONLY simple toggle of Internet connection I can find. Beats yanking the LAN cable out And its free Developer "CrystalRich" have a v.good reputation (IMHO)
