If you use more than one instant messenger, this is a must have. You can go to there site and use it via browser, or use the app from a mobile device and log in to all your messengers at once. Saves time, and a lot of memory.
I think it can be very interesting to contact people near and far from my country.
As written on Imo blog,
on March 3, 2014, we will start discontinuing support for all third-party instant messaging networks.
Therefore now is a distinct chat service.
If you are looking for other IM clients look at
Pidgin and its alternatives.
I recently found this online messenger. It has been very helpful when it comes to making voice calls to MSN, Yahoo, and Skype on Linux (Ubuntu).
Agree with other comments here - it's a great IM. Also it`s the best iphone IM app (including skype, icq, google talk, msn, jabber)
perfect empty interface. using it with Google Chrome extension. works great.
Ease of use and obligatory HTTPS have made imo.im my favourite web-based IM service.
