How long it would take a computer to crack your password? On this website you can test out a potential password to determine its relative strength and see an estimate of how long it would take a computer to calculate your password if it was, essentially, guessing at it.
IMPORTANT: Please note that it's dangerous to enter your real passwords into such a website. In principle, it could be recording them, or it could be hijacked by a third party for to do the same. If you have a password in mind, enter something similar, not the same.
For example, if you would like to know how secure is the password "My c@t i5 bl@ck & wh1t3" try instead something that replaces every character like-for-like - lower case letter for a lower case letter, symbol for symbol, e.g. "Be h%y o6 cr%hp / io2y4" That will calculate the same strength without giving away the password you have in mind.
