What is homebutler?
homebutler is an open-source homelab management tool built as a single Go binary. It helps you install and manage self-hosted apps, inspect processes and ports, run backup drills, configure alerts, and automate day-2 operations without depending on a large always-on stack. It also includes an MCP server so AI assistants can interact with your homelab through explicit tools instead of raw shell access.
