What is Hearth?

There are a bunch of amazing note-taking apps and writing apps out there, but in my experience they are either expensive, available only on one OS, or are not particularly oriented towards book projects.

For example, I love Apple Notes, but I have no access to that on my Windows PC; conversely, Scrivener is an amazing tool, but it’s expensive and has a steep learning curve.

I made Hearth because I wanted a very simple writing app that I could access anywhere. Anyone who signs up gets unlimited space, unlimited book projects, and access from anywhere via the web.

I’m a software developer in my 9-5 job, and I used this knowledge to make Hearth fast, convenient to use, and secure using the latest development technology.

Hearth allows you to set up two-factor authentication via your profile settings, which I highly encourage you to do.
