Hear is a sound enhancement application for the Mac. Hear improves the sound quality from your headphones, internal or external speakers. Hear also gives you the ability to customize the sound to your preference with a 10 to 96-band equalizer for your Mac. Once you try Hear you won't be able to go without it.

It's much improvement over windows audio yes, it has a bit of delay like 29ms but hardly noticeable in general usage
But no, it has a delay to the sound, I can feel that when I was playing an action game, and the sound was not clear enough IMO.

not only "Hear", "Boom" and any else has delay too, I think that's the only way to prevent overload CPU usage
