A great way to get notified via RSS or GMail when expected content appears online (or on certain sites).
Too bad you can only have 1,000 notifications per account. Also, you can't rename or group notifications.
This site doesn't allow you to delete or edit your reviews. Therefore, I'm forced to correct my previously posted review via a comment: Google abandoned Google Alerts in 2019, without making any changes or adding any new features. Currently, none of my 2,000+ feeds contain a single article. The service is effectively dead, and trying to use it is a waste of time. Unfortunately, all alternatives for large numbers of feeds are either paid or self-hosted.
Google alerts are great but they require a lot of tweaking and constant rule changing to adjust for what's going on in my company - seasonality, growth etc. I always wanted to look for an alternative but never really understood how to find one.. Luckily a friend put me on Millimetric.ai - integration took one minute, I never set a rule again, thier platform automatically tells me when something is out of the norm has anyone else tried this?
